COMMON QUESTIONS
Q.
Can my team join WBA even though we are in a league that send its regular season champ or all-star team to post season play?
A.
Yes. All teams are welcomed to WBA. There are no fees to belong to WBA. Simply enter a WBA tournament (Open, Super Regional), or other WBA sanctioned events and you are a WBA team.

Your team is eligible to attend any WBA Open Tournament or Super Regional regardless of your record or standing in your local league. If your league is WBA sanctioned, they may have guaranteed berths available to you. Otherwise, all tournament registration is on a first come-first served basis and open to anyone.
Q.
Can WBA help me classify my team?
A.
Yes. WBA will be happy to assist you with the classification of your team. You may reach us at info@wbabaseball.org or call 1-888-WBA-2280.
Q.
My team is a good select team. Will we be able to find good competition at WBA tournaments?
A.
Yes. WBA offers competition levels from recreational to strong select in most regions.

AllStar- for teams from drafted and recreational leagues. Includes All Star teams determined by the local league as well as independent teams from those leagues.

Classic-for select/travel teams of a mid-level nature. Also includes new clubs or teams.

Premier- for more experienced select/travel teams.
Q.
What is an All-Star team?
A.
All-Star teams typically come from drafted leagues and have limited tournament experience. Players on All-Star can come from a variety of regular season teams.
Q.
What is the difference in a Classic team and a Premier team?
A.
Classic teams normally are selected teams that are competitive with most teams in their area. Classic teams play probably 25-30 games per season and enjoy tournament play.

Premier teams are select teams that typically play more than 30 games per season and are competitive with the better teams in their area. Premier teams normally frequent more tournaments than Classic teams.
